- Remove the crust from the bread.
- Cut bread into small pieces and pour milk over.
- Knead a soft dough.
- Coat with ghee then roll into small round dough shapes.
- Drop the small rolled dough's in medium hot oil for 4 minutes.
- Turn the heat to low until dough is golden brown.
- Prepare syrup by simmering sugar and cardamom in water for 5 minutes.
- Place fried dough in syrup and rest the dough for 2 hours.
- Prepare filling by pouring milk in pan on low heat, stir in powdered milk, sugar and ghee.
- Stir until consistency thickens.
- Cut the gulab jamum in half and place filling then seal before serving.
- Ready to enjoy!
