  1. To make rava sheera, heat the ghee in a broad non-stick pan, add the semolina and saute on a slow flame for 6 to 8 minutes. , while stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the milk, 2½ cups of hot water, mix well and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  3. Add the sugar, raisins and cashew-nuts and mix well. Cover and cook on a slow flame for about 10 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the cardamom powder, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  5. Serve the rava sheera immediately garnished with cardamom powder, raisins and cashewnuts.
