Golden crispy singara is a must-have for an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix flour in a clear bowl with salt and Black cumin.
  2. Mix in ½ a cup of cooking oil with the dry ingredients.
  3. Gradually pour room temperature water.
  4. Cover dough and set aside to rest.
  5. Add a teaspoon of panch phoron in cooking oil on a pan.
  6. Stir in garlic and ginger paste.
  7. Add diced carrot, potatoes, and green beans.
  8. Add salt to taste.
  9. Add turmeric, red chili, and chopped green chilies.
  10. Pour in water and mix well.
  11. Cover with lid and cook until soft.
  12. Mix in fresh coriander and remove potato filling from heat,
  13. Roll out the dough and form an ice cream cone shape .
  14. Stuff it with the potato filling and seal.
  15. Deep fry in cooking oil on low medium heat until golden brown.
  16. Serve the singara with chutney.
  17. Ready to enjoy!
